So UBER.com got some last minute saving (literally). Here I was checking in to see if they were gone yet, when they updated with good news.
UBER IS BACK!
at least for now, one month to prove to the people who bailed them out that they can make them some money, or meet quotas. whatever it is, im happy i dont have to start all over again.
If you arent already on UBER, check it out!Just finished BC Fashion Week, and I have to say it was a blast! Working with some pretty awesome photographers Kris Krüg and Garry K again was great! great guys, both so humble!
Also, made some contacts which will hopefully translate into some business opportunities.
Speaking of business, ive decided to hang up my figurative hat for winter, and go back to work. I had a great interview on thursday, and am going in for something on monday. Unless they discover something they dont like (dont see that happening) I'm a shoe-in for the job.
Selling cameras again.
Also, I have been noticing some BIG things happening with my alice cooper shots! I was contacted by his guitarist, Keri Kelli about shots I took of him!
If im going to give away any secrets of concert photography, its that the lead singer isnt always the most important! Make sure you even get some of the drummer.
So I will be sending shots off to him, and will hopefully blow his mind.. we'll see.
Also, had my photos linked on several alice cooper fan sites, and a theme blog from the UK..
International exposure is fucking awesome.
speaking of international.. if you want to see some of the shots from fashion week,
look no further ( type BCFW into the search for all )
CONTEST TIME!
Please
read the news article carefully, and note me if you dont understand.
Cheers from a cold Vancouver,
Scott

To me, deviantART is more than just a gallery. It's where people come for support and love from one another in an artistic sense, and communal sense, and I fear we've lost sight of that.
And somehow, the best photographers seem to come from Canada.
