Vancouver Fashion Week 2008 - Fall/Winter
Designer: Eve Kitso
Model: Unknown

Thanks to ~turtlespooon: for lending me the D200 body.

I was shooting with 50/1.8 with a 52mm Cross-filter (Sorry chris ;))

Im glad i borrowed that from my old boss because i was going to drop $40 on a 77mm 4pt star filter, and im glad i didnt.. (Earlier that day i bought my battery grip)

The venue was pretty small.. I was tucked in at the start of the runway

Daily DeviationVFW: End of the line.. by `Obsidian-Fox is a scene rarely executed to perfection by many deviants, a scene that's not of the norm, yet one manages to get away with it scott free. Not many photographers or photojournalists are able to capture scenes that's not often seen by many, and the fact that its taken by a deviantART member makes me prouder too. It even makes you wonder if every photographers there were given free ice-cream cones too. (Featured by ^estudio)

Very nice. Not the usual view we get.
I love being a bit different at times :D

love the pose and the pov, and really there's a sense of being there.
great capture - in what looks like - insane conditions.
big smile.
Two things I love.

The insanely large flares.

And the fact that she's barefoot :)

Makes it look... somewhat sacrificial, almost :giggle:

I think of weird thoughts.

aahhh sweet, I just added this as a :+fav: and then I read the comments and it was shot with my camera :D ...I love this shot though man, the pose, the way shes holding the shoes, the use of the Cross-filter, and the fact its shot with a 150 dollar lens just tops it all off for me :)...I think I wanna get a print of this from you
Sure, remind me the next time you work, ill come in and trade you the image for a few more prints ;)
