A tribute to Micheal Jackson - the greatest artist of our time - in words and images..
(i chose this setup, having shot a few other frames like this previously.. and gotten great results. rather than miss this opportunity (which actually presented itself many more times, i flicked and twiddles my knobs to a tried and true combination.. also, since i was not using the flash in an oftenly dim-lit setting, the reduced shutterspeed made for better lighting, and an almost surreal relation between the shadows and highlights.. If i wanted a perfectly sharp picture, i would have shot this at 1/125 atleast, and used a flash, but then i wouldnt be accomplishing what i set out to do.. and that is capturing this.. and its unique feel, unique grain, and personaly, i love the way i shot this, and wouldnt submit another any other way..
CommentsA very odd character indeed, very unique. I like the concept behind it, and the positioning works well. Nice picture.
Haha! Fave from me. Great shot and brilliantly titled. And well done you for being so subtle

-- Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB) i wasnt even wearing my ninja suit.. wierd thing is, that probably would attract more attention.. -- Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB) thank you very much
