I took this shot while everyone else was taking the same shitty shot of lil wayne.
Second in a series of unsung concert heroes. I was super excited to be shooting behind the sound board at Lil Wayne.. I wanted this one shot, for myself. I would have loved to be in the pit, but no one was allowed but the video guys.. In the background is Lil Wayne, sitting on the edge of the stage, and frame right is T-Pain, coming to say hi or something.. but what i mostly love about this is how peaceful the whole frame is with the guy wearing his headphone. it's like, the background is so "load", and yet, when you look at the whole picture. you get a sense of quiet and serenity.
