The Flaming lips is hands down the second best stage show I have ever seen (next to maiden) but the best stage show I personally have shot..
Starting out the set with the giant crowd surfing bubble, eccentric front man Wayne Coyne obviously enjoys this very much.. A set full of bubbles, balloons, confetti and teletubbies (yes, and tinky too Evan)
They really rocked the whole festival.
I ALMOST didn't shoot them, since i had never heard about them before, and next to a great show, they have some great music too
Thanks go out to Sprout for letting me know i shouldn't miss this one!

I live in the Kootenays, near the US-Canada border. I like some of Petty's music (grew up with my dad's 80's music), but he hasn't toured near me yet. The Moody Blues were in Vancouver last year and I almost went, but ended up not going. They're another band I'd love to see some day.
I would've liked to see Jay-Z and Coldplay too.
